Hyperemesis gravidarum (HG) is a severe form of nausea and vomiting in pregnancy. It is generally described as unrelenting, excessive pregnancy-related nausea and/or vomiting that prevents adequate intake of food and fluids. Complications of vomiting (e.g. gastric ulcers, esophageal bleeding, malnutrition, severe dehydration etc.) may also contribute to and worsen ongoing nausea. These symptoms make it extremely difficult for diagnosed women to perform day to day tasks, especially when discharged from the hospital. Our Doula's are trained and educated, ready to offer continuous support throughout the labor and delivery process. Our doula can help an expecting mother in many ways, including acting as a resource of knowledge, offering assistance in creating a birth plan, and providing referrals to valuable resources in your area. During labor the doula assists with emotional, physical and informational support and encouragement, comfort measures, position suggestions, and can facilitate communication between you and your care provider. The first few weeks home from the hospital with a newborn can be overwhelming. We at AMB recognize the many challenges, which is why we developed specialty bulk-hour packages catered for this experience. The packages include, physical & emotional support, meal & snack preparation, home management, picking up medication, running errands, doctor appointment pick-ups and drop offs, to name a few. Specifically created for every mommy to maintain her home, so that she can tend to baby. 

Mommy's Helpers offers home support services to new mommy's. Routine housework including general cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, assistance with meal prep, laundry, ironing, changing beds, cleaning and overall home management. Giving every new mommy the freedom to focus purely on her new bundle of joy. Mommy's helpers can also assist with Personal Care when needed, assisting with grooming needs, Supervising or assisting with tub baths, showers, sponge baths, and bed baths, if the mother had an especially difficult labor and delivery.

Licensed Nursing services can range from clinical assessments to in-depth treatments according to your provider's care plan. Some much-needed medical care can be facilitated right at home, taking away the burden of constant doctor’s appointments. All of these services are performed by Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs).
